Prepare the Distributed POINT I/O Hardware Chapter 1

Mount and Connect the 1734-ADN DeviceNet Adapter

Complete the following tasks to mount and connect the 1734-ADN DeviceNet adapter.

1. Press the adapter onto the DIN rail.

2. Set the network node address with

the thumbwheel switch.

This quick start uses node 02.

3. If the DeviceNet connector is

installed on the 1734-ADN adapter

module, remove it.
