12.Double-click the 1769-SDN scanner

module to begin configuring the

DeviceNet module.

13.Click the Module tab and select Download if prompted.

This erases any settings in the scanner if it was ever previously used.

14.Set the 1769-SDN scanner module settings

at the bottom of the dialog box as

appropriate for your system.

15.Click Apply.

16.Click the Scanlist tab.

17.Automap all available devices into the

scanner by using the >> button.

This allows the controller to connect to the

devices and control the servo drives.

18.Verify that the DeviceNet scanner is in IDLE mode and not in RUN mode.

19.Click OK and click Yes to confirm downloading these changes to the scanner.

20.Save your work.

21.Exit RSNetworx for DeviceNet software.
