right
hand
slots
of
the
main
chassis.
They
provide
a central
processing
facility
for
the
Triguard
SC300E
system.
Operation
of
the
system
is
software
controlled
by
the
Real
Time
Task
Supervisor
(RTTS)
which
continuously
executes
the
following
functions:
Polling
of
inputs
and
outputs
Diagnostics
to
detect
internal
faults,
power
outages,
voting
agreement
and
the
health
of
the
processor
module
microprocessor
Tracking
of
maintenance
activities
such
as
hot
repair
Detection
of
latent
faults
in
I/O
modules
Execution
of
safety
and
control
logic
Data
acquisition
and
Sequence
Of
Events
(SOE)
for
transmission
to
an
operator
workstation
