The AADvance provides a transparent connection between the asset management

software and the field device. AADvance controller provides a global control variable

allowing the user to control HART Passthru via the application, the AI and AO

channels each provide variables for monitoring HART Passthru activity:

 one to monitor the elapsed time since the last non-pass-through communication

(AIM_HART_FULL_xx.ELAPSED)

 and one to indicate that HART messages are in progress

(AIM_HART_FULL_xx.PASSTHROUGH).

To use the pass-through feature you must configure a communication path for the

AADvance DTM, provide the control to enable the communications through the

Processor and configure the HART structure to each I/O channel connected to a

HART Field Device.
